Until Dawn - Mines Lighting

Towards the end of development of UD when the environments were close to completion, I helped the Lead Lighting Artist work on the environment and sequence lighting. These are some examples of Emily's chapter I covered following the direction of the Lead Lighting Artist https://www.artstation.com/bob1982 Robert Craig.

Techniques were a mixture of per shot realtime sequence lighting and environment baked lighting and this allowed us to reach the cinematic visuals we were aiming for. The deferred renderer was purely in Maya and we could Live Link to the PS4 so this helped light the shots like for like.
